50 Cent "Power" is the Official Season 3 Air Date
The power it has gained so much buzz that it was awarded a third season. Executive producer and star of the show, 50 Cent announced on Twitter that the drama will be returning to the airwaves nationwide on July 17.
Entertainment Weekly shared the news, announcing that the Starz show moves to Sunday nights at 9 pm EST, and is scheduled for 10 one-hour episodes. Previously issued on Saturday.
The power, which is written by Courtney Kemp Agboh, issued for the first time in 2014 and 50 promoted the show by making fun of the competition, Fox's Empire. Omari Hardwick, Joseph Sakora and 50 captivated the audience with an intense story of a drug kingpin who leads a double life as a luxurious night club owner.
The premiere of the second season, set a Starz record as the most-watched episode of an original series. On the season, Rotimi played a key character and, outside of the fair, was associated with the 50 of the song, "Lotto."
50 cent's character, Kanan, apparently, was eliminated in the second season, but escaped from a fire caused by Hardwick's character, James "Ghost" St. Patrick.
