Apple Denies Report of turning Off the iTunes Music Downloads In 2019

#DXCLUSIVE: "It's simply not true," says Apple.

Los Angeles, CA – The internet was hit with a whiff of false news, on Thursday (March 29) after reports circulated that Apple was preparing to stop digital downloads of its famous iTunes the music app come from 2019.

HipHopDX reached out to Apple PR who told us that "it simply is not true."

The rumors come from a recent interview with Apple executive Jimmy Iovine did with the BBC where he predicted that it would be "inevitable" for iTunes to the phase of the feature of shock due to the transmission of the immense popularity, but does not explicitly say that in reality was happening.

Apple has been denied similar rumors from almost two years ago.

"If I'm honest, is when people stop buying. It is very simple," Iovine was quoted as saying about a possible timeline.

The erroneous reports of iTunes stop downloads come on the heels of a factual report courtesy of the Record Industry Association of the united states that underscores how the vinyl records and CDs beat digital downloads for the first time since 2011.

According to the RIAA, digital downloads, fell to 1.3 billion in 2017, 25 per cent less than the previous year.
