B-Real exclusively announced the title of Cypress Hill's upcoming album like Elephants On Acid with HipHopDX.
"It's pretty much in the finishing stages," B-Real added during a recent visit with Dash Radio PROPHETsioNELZ hosts DJ Nelz and DJ Prophet. "Muggs, I think, is the mix".
Cypress Hill's latest project, rise up, was released in 2010 and the Los Angeles native explains the delay between the crew of the albums.
"Cypress Hill has always traditionally took one to two years to make an album," he says. "That's not counting the time we are on tour and things like that. Just because we like to do a lot of work and Muggs likes to turn things upside down 10 times more. What you start with may not be what ends up there, so when I did all my things I went to the study. It is not I, no demos, no nothing. I don't know what the fuck it sounds like until the end."
In another part of the interview, the Smokebox host addresses of the trend of rappers entering into the marijuana industry.
"It is now more acceptable, is the thing," the Drug rapper says. "We are now seeing people who never fucked with the weed before you say that you want to get into the weed business, too. Poor Lions got a fucking collective. 'Fuck, why can't I get a collective?'"
