The Hip Hop legend has been keeping busy. In a recent interview with HipHopDX, Daddy Fat Sacks spoke about The Release of Tour with the goddess of pop Christina Aguilera, which began on September 25 in Hollywood, Florida.
Big Boi joined her in September 30 in Washington, DC, and will be presented on select dates.
"I guess I needed a little excitement, like a heavy weight to go with it and they know that I'm known as a festival of killer. At any time I step on that stage, I just try to burn it, man. My boss gave me a call and I was like, 'do you want to go on tour with Christina?' And I was like, 'Hell yeah!' It only worked, it worked.
"While I was able to — my son plays football — to take the Friday night lights of nights away. I think I'm only missing like a football match. This is his last year of high school, so they were able to avoid that. We just make sense."
Big Boi ends his dates with Aguilera on 13 November in St. Petersburg, Florida.
