Bobby V Named As A Suspect In The Alleged Rape
A representative of V denies the allegations, saying that his team is resorting to legal action.
Cobb County, GEORGIA, Bobby V appears as a suspect in a rape case that allegedly took place in Georgia last week, according to TMZ.
V was named by a woman who filed a report in the Cobb County, Georgia, on Monday (19 March), the publication reports, citing police sources.
While the circumstances surrounding the case remain unclear, the alleged violation has taken place on Sunday (March 18).
TMZ reports that V lives in the area.
The "Slow Down", the singer-songwriter has yet to comment on the allegations publicly, despite the fact that a representative of the association of veterans of R&B singer tells TMZ that they seek legal action against "what appears to be a weak yet calculated attempt to obtain financial gain through ulterior motives in the matter."
V-rep with the tag women's version of the events as an "apparent false report."
"Bobby takes any charge against women very seriously. However, false accusations harm real victims of sexual abuse."
This latest news comes just a few weeks after V launch of his most recent album, Electrik, led by the Snoop Dogg-assisted single, "lil' Bit."
Back in 2017, the Internet (and Snoop Dogg) roast V after he allegedly failed to pay for sex with a transsexual escort. Later refuted the claims, saying that he was the victim of extortion.
