Boi-1da and Vinylz Outside Air Teck For the alleged Theft of J. Cole's "Deja Vu" Beat

Foreign producer Teck accused of having sticky fingers.

For the listeners who eagerly dove in J. Cole's new album, 4 Your Eyez Only, one song in particular, may have boasted a very familiar sound.

The Boi-1da and Vinylz-produced track "Déjà Vu" has almost the same rate as Bryson Tiller's megahit "Change", a song produced by The Mekanics. The Florida duo consists of Michael "Foreign Teck" Hernandez and Rico "5 Star" Evans, who have created beats for the likes of Tory Lanez, French Montana, and Post Malone.

Through Twitter, Boi-1da provides a simple explanation of the similarity: the beat was stolen and given to the Tiller.

"Maybe @ForeignTeck can explain why to you why the Exchange and the Déjà Vu of similar sound... @Vinylz ?," Boi-1da wrote while questioning the Alien Teck on Twitter.
