By phonte's long-Awaited Second LP "No News is Good News" Drops At Midnight
But this is a good news.
By phonte has announced its long-promised second album, no News Is Good News, finally see the light of day, seven years after the release of his solo debut, Charity Starts at Home. The LP, which was first announced almost two years ago, is scheduled to drop at midnight.
In an interview with HipHopDX in June of 2016, originally scheduled for September 30, 2016 release date.

He originally attributed the delay to the vast amount of things on their plate, including its programme of visits with foreign Exchange as well as its role in VH1's The Breaks as the pro-black rap battle character Imam Ali. On top of that, by phonte published Tigallerro, a collaborative project with singer Eric Roberson, in the year 2016.
When speaking of the album, with WatchLoud in July of 2016, noted how different the approach would be its debut. "I didn't want to write over the course of a year or two," he explained. "This project is going to be much more immediate, with the song produced in a short, concentrated burst."
