Chamillionaire Preaches The Power Of Technology For High School Students

Houston, TX – Chamillionaire, Texas rapper who rose to fame for his 2005 hit single "Ridin'", recently spoke to a group of college-bound seniors at Houston Worthing high School about career opportunities in the burgeoning tech world. He was also accompanied by representatives from Spotify and LiveNation.
Despite the long history of technology investor, said he's still an artist, he admitted the technology is now their "core business."
"I was a musician, still am, but I realize that the value in the appreciation of the technical side of things, and that has become my main business," Chamillionaire told the Houston news KPRC 2.
With the immense popularity of the app-friendly social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram, Chamillionaire, encouraged students to learn the skills necessary to build something similar.
"If you can learn how to code today, you can build this same thing that you are looking for in every day, you're on twitter or that the role of fit," he said. "And I have the feeling that the conversation should be had."
