Childish Gambino Is Going On Tour With Rae Sremmurd
The tour will start on September 6 in Atlanta.
Following the premiere of Season 2 of Atlanta, Donald Glover's musical alter ego Childish Gambino has revealed that he will be hitting the road with the rap duo Rae Sremmurd for a tour of North America.
The tour will serve as the first time Gambino has been touring in support of their last studio album, the Grammy-nominated Wake up, My Love!.
Rae Sremmurd is going to have a lot of new music to show, with three LPs worth of new music through a group project and two solo offerings of Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi.
Glover's next tour could also be the last time touring as Childish Gambino. At the top of this year, has re-confirmed his plans to retire his rap moniker.
"I'm still doing another project right now. But I like the end. I think that are important to the progress," he said during a Q&A at the presentation ceremony January the Grammy Awards.
Childish Gambino's north American tour will start in the rapper/actor's hometown of Atlanta on September 6, before stopping in a dozen cities in the united States and Canada.
