Dame Dash Rebukes Lyor Cohen On The Joe Budden Podcast: "I Want To Smoke"

The Roc-A-Fella co-founder is still calling Cohen, a lover of the culture.

It is no secret that Lyor Cohen and Dame Dash are sworn enemies with little chance of reconciliation.

During last week's interview with Cohen in The Breakfast Club, refused to recognize the Script of the existence and achievements in spite of his previous business relationship when Cohen was president of Def Jam Records, which distributes Dash Roc-A-Fella Records from 1996 to 2004. Since then, the Script has gone public in numerous interviews and on social media to vehemently accuse Cohen of being a "culture vulture" in the Hip Hop industry.

On Wednesday (August 8), Dash made an appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast to continue airing their grievances. In 1 hour and 34-minute mark, Budden asked, "What exactly is a lover of the culture, and why is Lyor one?"

Dash cleared her throat to ramp up its six-minute response-hacking YouTube's Global head of Music.

"A culture vulture is someone who takes advantage of the culture he is not part of, does not benefit the culture and take care of your culture, and has no respect for the culture that is exploitation," said Dash.

He added, "And that's why Lyor is because he has been making money off of our culture: he is not part of it, has been the exploitation of the same. Never helping, teaching or anything, doing what is in the best interest of your own pocket on the culture. And to add insult to injury, he is not accepted in their own culture. He can't get any money in their own culture so that he comes to us, it acts as a large cat, pretends to need him when we don't."
