Dapper Dan's Biopic Coming To The Big Screen
"It's time to tell you everything."
Daniel "Dapper Dan" Day of Hip-Hop most prolific of the measure and has made a significant impact in the fashion industry that his story will now be told on the big screen with Jerrod Carmichael signed on to adapt her upcoming memoir, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sony is developing the film, which will be produced by Carmichael and Josh Bratman Immersive Photos. Dapper Dan and his son/manager mark is named as executive producers.

The Harlem of the fashionable courtier was responsible for the customization of garments from luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci to Hip-Hop stars such as LL Cool J, JAY-Z, Salt-N-Pepa and Diddy — before the Feds shut him down on copyright infringement in the years '90.
Years later, these same fashion houses are now working with him on the collections. Dapper Dan and Gucci signed a contract to re-open its Harlem shop that will feature the Dapper Dan x Gucci, launched in the fall of 2018.
