DMX Arrested For Contempt of Court
UPDATE: DMX was arrested in July because of problems arising from the support of the child.
DMX was arrested for contempt of court on Tuesday (October 27) in Yonkers, New York, The Journal News.
The police say that the rapper missed a child support payment of $10,ooo due to the ex-wife Tashera Simmons, who DMX has four children.
DMX was released without bail, after explaining that he has to perform in upcoming shows and cancellation would be bad for his reputation.
"The only thing I have is my name and my reputation," said the judge, adding that is the "only way that I can make a life."
His next court appearance is November 18.

DMX was released from jail today (September 25), TMZ reports.
The rapper's lawyer filed a document asking the judge to throw the first case to be made against the rapper because the police did not follow proper procedures when he was arrested.
He was arrested in July because of problems arising from the child support and sentenced to six months in prison.
The site says DMX has agreed to pay the mother in question of $20,000.
