Donald Glover Has not Been Online Since "This Is America" Came out
And he't read any of their think pieces.
Donald Glover has proven his sensitivity as a reason why he has not touched the internet since Thursday (3 May) prior to his hosting gig on Saturday Night Live.
Glover made the revelation during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, after which he was asked if he had delved into any think pieces for his images full of "This Is America" music video. Went on to lightheartedly reveal that he is "very sensitive" and does not deal with online criticism.
"Some friends have sent you a couple," Glover said. "To be real, I have not been on the internet since Thursday night before the Saturday Night Live ... I'm very sensitive. So I said, 'I'm going to let it go.'...I see one negative thing and I track of the person. I'm going to enter in your Instagram and be like, " you're not so great. The baby is not even that cute.'"
The actor/musician he later gave to Lauryn Hill accessories for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. When asked to share the title of the album that you have listened to the most, he revealed that there's nothing on the level of the Hill's solo debut.
"I think you are probably heard of bad education for Lauryn Hill, the most part," the Atlanta creator said. "I want to say, is impeccable. Every time I listen ... I feel like Lauryn Hill album, an album about love and all kinds of love. I never heard an album so well."
During her appearance on the late-night show, Glover also spoke about having the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sing "Superstition" with Stevie Wonder at his birthday party earlier this week.
