Drake Loses to the #1 Slot In 2017 Year-End List Spotify

Eminem's guest selection makes a lot of sense now.

A new report released by Spotify shows Ed Sheeran has taken the Drake, the former title of Most Streamed Artist, the accumulation of us $ 6.3 million streams for the year 2017. Drake previously the title in 2015 and 2016. Last year, Drizzy counted 4.7 million of current dollars.

Although Drake has been dethroned, the data of the sample of Hip Hop listening has increased by 74 percent from the year 2016. In fact, two of the Top 5 Most Listened to Artists fall under the Hip Hop category. Drake grabbed the second slot, while Kendrick Lamar grabbed the fourth.

Despite being pushed behind Sheeran, Hip-Hop and R&B continue to dominate listenership. Drake More than Life, The Weekend, Starboy, Lamar DAMN. and Post Malone Stoney appear as the most listened to 2017 press, just after Sheeran ÷ (Divide) LP.

In other places in the chart, Migos appears in the Majority of Streaming Group, while the DJ Khaled "I'm The one who" appears as one of the Most Listened to Tracks. Last year we saw Drake in this category double-up", A Dance" and "Work" with Rihanna). Finally, the newcomers Lil Pump and Trippie Redd appear at the Top of the Breakout Artists of the category.
