#DXCLUSIVE: Sapient Celebrate #35 With "Joy" Video

Happy.

HipHopDX Premiere – Sapient turns 35 on Tuesday (16 October) and in order to celebrate, the Sandpeople veterinarian gives to his fans with a new visual for "full of Joy."

Written and produced by the Oregon-based artist, the song is Sapient to venture into more of an acoustic guitar based on the music and the use of his impressive vocal range to drive home his anti-materialism concept.

"To not be in some of the Ancient Aliens crap, but I'm pretty anti-money and the role it plays in the suppression of our natural inclination to dream and be creative," Sapient explains to HipHopDX. "'Overjoyed' is on the vacuum dedicate our lives to work, to get the money and the gaps of praise, while struggling to stay connected to what really sets our soul on fire.

"I was doing a lot to provide for my family that I never really had the opportunity to slow down to analyze everything: the live show, the business structure, the sound and the brand. I needed a little time to listen to my intuition and my plan is moving more deliberately, so it took me a year of pause in my journey and the times to be able to re-focus on my family, work on my house and just do art."

In the video, Sapient gets a birthday card and the gift of Life Kills Slowly co-founder of Timi Hendrix. He opens the giant of this to find a labradoodle puppy called Moose in the interior.

"Timi is a super dope German rapper who has become a good friend and collaborator," he says. "LKS of press and support my music in most of the non-territories of the united states. He really has put me on the map in Germany by forcing myself to get out of there to go and meet fans of my music. The birthday gift and the card from its little away from the cameo."
