Forget Shalamar: Bobby Brown Takes Credit For Michael Jackson Moonwalk

The late music icon premiered the movement in 1983 on Motown's 25th anniversary of the event.

Michael Jackson was famous for his other musical talent, just a glittery glove and slick dance moves — specifically the moonwalk. But according to Bobby Brown, the late icon's signature move was all his idea. While talking to Fat Joe on Instagram Live at the beginning of this week, the illustrious R&B singer took the credit to show Jackson back in the 1980s.

Brown added Jackson asked how to do it.

But, of course, this is not a claim Brown has not done before. In a 2017 interview with The Encryption, he provided more details.
