Ghostface Killah, Big Daddy Kane & Cappadonna To Give Life To The Culture With The "New Fact"
#DXCLUSIVE: Matt "M-Eighty" Markoff explains how Styliztik Jones' the verse ended up being a favorite.
Longtime Wu-Tang Clan affiliate Matt "M-Eighty" Markoff had once Upon a Time In Shaolin firmly in its sights. After the infamous "pharma-bro" Martin Shkreli put the one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang album for sale on eBay earlier this year, Markoff took the opportunity to purchase and place approximately $ 1 million to make it happen.
While the sale ultimately fell through in part thanks to Shkreli to seven years in prison for federal fraud charges — Markoff found some redemption by the executive producer Ghostface Killah's upcoming album, The Lost Tapes.

Ahead of its release, Ghostface has shared the "New Fact" with Big Daddy Kane, Cappadonna, and Styliztik Jones.
"This set represents the classic Ghostface environment, the celebration of women, their beauty, knowledge and strength," Ghostface said in a press release. "With one of Hip Hop's most celebrated emcees and one of my favorite artists [Big Daddy Kane] along for the ride was the icing on the cake."
Markoff told HipHopDX, "The best part of the song is how Styliztik Jones did. He was in the studio when I was recording Cappadonna, and I had to put a verse just because, and ended up being one of the favorite of all — not only in that song, but the album as a whole."
The Loss of the Tapes are expected to arrive by October 5.
In the meantime, listen to "Do it Again".
