Hip Hop Album Sales: Post Malone "Beerbongs And Bentleys" Makes Rockstar Billboard 200 Debut

In addition, Janelle Monáe's "Dirty" Computer and YoungBoy Never Broke Again's "Till Death Call My Name" hit the chart in the Top 10.

Post Malone continues to defy his critics and has earned another #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. Beerbongs and Bentleys, the 22-year follow-up for 2016 Stoney, captured the coveted place of J. Cole KOD, which plummeted 74 percent of the land in the #3 for the week that ended May 3.

In other places in the chart, Janelle Monáe from the Dirty Computer and YoungBoy Never Broke again Until the Death Call My Name, both made their debut, while the Cardi B of the Invasion Of Privacy fell 22 percent, to settle at #4.

Post Malone Beerbongs And Bentleys touched the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 with 461,393 total album equivalent units sold, 152,858 pure album sales and streaming count 431,345,865.

His previous album, Stoney, saw a 12 percent bump in sales as well, landing in the Top 10 at #9. It has been in the chart for the past 73 weeks.

The Texas-bred rapper has broken several records since the release of his latest project. On the day of its April 28 release, it sets a new streaming Spotify record for most streams in a single day. The album also went platinum in less than 24 hours after its launch.

The actress and artist Janelle Monáe and her first album in five years, Dirty Computer, lying in 53,833 total album equivalent units, 41,307 pure album sales and streaming count 16,605,036, to be placed in the Top 10 at #6.

The sexually liberated project marks his follow-up to 2013's The Electric Lady, which peaked at #5 upon its release.
