HipHopDX – This week in Hip Hop, Eminem Rebirth was leaked before its official December 15, the date of the publication and XXXTENTACION was thrown back in jail after being hit with seven new felony charges. Also, Kodak Black in comparison with some of his lyrics and some of JAY-Z's lyrics with a meme on Instagram, sparking debate.

Two days before Revival officially hit stores, the highly anticipated album by Eminem was leaked on the internet. Fan opinions were divided between those who loved it and those who hated it, and the DX has settled in our score in an official exam.

On the 15th of December, the Revival came out in all digital platforms, as well as brick and mortar stores. The project comes with 19 tracks and guest appearances from the likes of Beyoncé, Alicia Keys and Ed Sheeran.

The revival was through an entertaining marketing campaign that uses fake pharmaceutical ads, and the fans had to go through a treasure hunt-style search for clues as to when it would fall, and that he was working on it.

On Friday (15 December) XXXTENTACION was again imprisoned after his hearing in a Miami-Dade County court. The prosecutors who work in his 2016 case of domestic violence also tacked on seven additional charges, in his case, including witness tampering and witness harassment.

X is being held without bond and will remain behind bars until his next court date. He faces decades in prison if found guilty.
