Issa Rae Production HBO Max Show "Rap Shit"

The series will be a half-hour comedy series centered around a female rap group out of Miami trying to make it in the music industry.

Insecure star Issa Rae has been associated with HBO's Max to produce a comedy series based on the Miami Hip Hop scene Rap of Bullshit as was reported by deadline.

The series was announced as part of a new series of female-produced comedies for the subscription-based service. In a press release HBO Max, the synopsis stated, "the Rap Shit (working title) of Issa Rae (Insecurity, A Black Lady Sketch Show) is a half-hour comedy series that follows a group of feminine rap from outside of Miami trying to make it in the music industry.".centered-ad {
