J. Cole & Lil Pump Interviewed Each One Of The Others In Rolling Strong 2018

Where's the beef?

It's probably safe to say that there is no beef between J. Cole and Lil of the Pump. On Tuesday night (May 22), the Daily Struggle of the hosts of DJ Akademiks shared an audio clip of Cole and of the Pump to interview each other in Rolling Strong 2018.

The pump is heard talking about a fight with someone over a herb smell in the house of the person and the Dreamville brain asks him if he made a scene intentionally.

The two met at Miami music festival and of course we squashed whatever tension still persists. Pump said they were already on good terms on two occasions — once in the 2018 Billboard Awards, and once to TMZ. Both comments were produced after this year Rolling in a loud voice.

Twitter was convinced Cole was talking directly to him, in the KOD track "of 1985 (the Introduction To 'The Fall Off')," which serves as an ominous warning to the new generation of rappers looking for a quick route to fame and fortune.

Pump shot back-to-school on social media, saying: "Wow you get a lot of accessories. You diss a young man of 17 years of age. Lame-ass jit."

During an interview with Angie Martinez, Cole opened up about the song and explained, "we are in the age of trolling. We are in the generation of trolling. These children have discovered something. They discovered that the attention is all that matters. Skill? Who gives a fuck? The quality? No, all that matters is the attention.

"This music is just a platform for me to call attention. What is even more important that the music is shit to do outside of the music. What kind of wild shit can I cook? What kind of wild shit that I say, just to draw attention?'"

In a follow-up video on YouTube, Akademiks said the two "really fuck with each other"

"There is an interview that will surface very soon between J. Cole and Lil Pump," he said. "Are only really speak candidly about all kinds of things and are trying to close the generation gap."
