J. Cole Announces Inaugural Dreamville Festival And Gives A Taste Of Nigeria
Coming to Raleigh in September of 2018 to benefit charity!
Raleigh, NC – Never the hero of his people, J. Cole has announced the first-ever Dreamville Festival that will go down in Raleigh, North Carolina — about an hour drive from the Fayetteville city limits where he grew up.
The festival was born through a partnership with the own Dreamville Records, and Texas-based ScoreMore Shows. Both VIP and general admission tickets are currently on sale in www.dreamvillefest.com.
Raleigh is a 300-acre Dorothea Dix Park will serve as the location of the event, on September 15, 2018. Accompanying the events will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Dreamville Festival announcement is the latest strategic tool of marketing for the 33-year-old superstar, who broke two Spotify and streaming Music Apple records with her fifth studio album, KOD. The critically acclaimed project also marks the highest-selling opening week of 2018.
"Our entire Dreamville team is proud to finally unveil today the details about Dreamville Festival, something that has been a long-time dream for all of us, especially Cole," Ibrahim "IB" Hamad, President of Dreamville Records President, and J. Cole's manager, says in a press release.
"We hope to give back to the community with a celebration of all the things that make Raleigh and North Carolina to himself so much of the music, the food, the art, culture and more. This event will ultimately give Cole a chance to make a direct impact to the people that helped shape what it is today."

The newly minted social media addict recently tested its KOD performance of temple in front of the Dreamville Festival in Lagos, Nigeria (where he admitted the tongue-twister title of
