J. Cole, Back To Work With Royce Da 5'9
4 your eyez only.
J. Cole and Royce Da 5'9 were captured in the studio together this past July, which led to rumors that some sort of collaboration was on its way. Now, the producer S1 has shared a couple of Instagram posts that have only added more fuel to the fire.
On Tuesday (23 January), a photo of the Dreamville head honcho and Nickel Nine began to make the rounds, and was accompanied by a clip which shows the duo in a set of videos.
"Together with my brothers, Royce and J. Cole doing that thing," S1 said in the video. The legend says, "Them boys up to something".

Another collaboration with Wale is also likely in the works. About a week ago, Wale posted a now-deleted Instagram post reveals that he and Cole were "working in the new wave."

Cole has yet to confirm any official partnerships, but judging by the recent activity in the social media, there is something on the way soon. Cole's last album, 4 Your Eyez Only, was launched in 2016, while Royce is busy preparing for the launch of the much anticipated PRhyme 2 with DJ Premier.
