J. Cole's "KOD" Album Is Dropping This Week

Is this a dream?

J. Cole fans were right to be excited. After you perform a surprise concert on Monday (April 16), the Dreamville founder upped the ante with the announcement that it will drop a new album titled KOD Friday (April 20).

Rap Radar's Brian "B. Dot" Miller, who was at the show, reports the album was recorded in just two weeks. The title, KOD, has three different meanings: Kidz On Drugz, King of Overdose and Kill Our Demonz.

cole played the entire album. around 12 songs.

experimenting with the flow.

prominent tracks were the introduction of this latest song, "1985". no word on the release date. but it's coming.
