Jim Jones Arrested For Drug Possession And Weapons Charges Following Police Chase
The Dipset O. G. is reportedly facing multiple felony charges.
Coweta County, GA – Jim Jones, was reportedly arrested on Wednesday night (June 21) in Coweta County, Georgia.
According to The Newnan Times-Herald, the Dipset O. G. was arrested on drug possession and weapons charges. Coweta Country Sheriff's Office investigator Jeremy Wood stained a gray color Mercedes to cross in the left hand emergency lane when he decided to remove it from the vehicle. Jones was in the back seat.
As the traffic stop was being conducted, the driver of the vehicle took off and led officers on a brief police chase. Of wood lying in the front of the car and the driver allegedly hit the Wood of the vehicle intentionally.
Once the four occupants were outside the vehicle, Jones explained driver Ana Rajnee Miles was acting "inconsistent" and not pull over.
Investigators searched the vehicle and found 23 pills of Oxycodone and a Titan .25 caliber pistol with seven bullets in the chamber hidden inside a backpack.
The weed is also found throughout the vehicle, along with a Ruger SR 9mm pistol reported stolen from Dekalb County in the month of March.
In another backpack, police found a variety of Oxycodone, Percocet and THC oil, as well as Jones' passport and $148 in what Jones describes as the "box girl."
Everyone in the car was taken Newnan Piedmont Hospital medically cleared before they were incarcerated in the Coweta County Jail on the morning of Thursday (June 21).
Jones was accused of several crimes, including possession of the stolen firearm, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of narcotics. He was also charged with a misdemeanor for the prescription pills not in their original container.
He was reportedly released on $7,000 bail.
