"Juice" Actor Khalil Kain Remembers the Kid Getting Trampled By the Theft of Tupac Jewelry

Apparently, he doesn't know the ledge.

The City of new York, NY – in 1992, Tupac Shakur's acting debut in Harlem based on the drama Juice immediately became a Hip Hop classic for its faithful representation of the inner-city black youth and the potential of drama that you face in day-to-day.

The film was also notable in the launch of the career of Omar Epps and Ernest Dickerson, who made his debut as a director, after spending a considerable amount of time working as director of photography, often under Spike Lee. The juice of the accompanying soundtrack has still many prominent names, such as Too $hort, Naughty By Nature, Salt-N-Pepa and Eric B. & Rakim.

According to Khalil Kain, who portrayed "Rahim" in the film for your acting debut as a 27-year-old that sense of realism translated off the screen due to a theft of jewelry in Tupac of the trailer.

While speaking to VLADTV, the holder actor confirmed a longstanding rumor that Tupac's crew beat up a guest in the set. It is a well-known fact that the late Shakur was all about Black Unity and elevation, though apparently bonded with a guy who was not ready to see the bigger picture.

"I grew up in the City of New York; I knew what Uptown is about," Kain says of the film of the location. "I was not showing the love [that] at that point. And yes, it [Tupac] invited the wrong guy to pass the time. And the guy stole some jewelry ... and he got his ass beat. He got liquidated ... those are the rules".

Kain had brought a girlfriend with the hope that the set of impress her and she thought it was a scene that they were filming.

As history tells it, the filming of Juice preceded the release of Tupac's debut album, 2Pacalypse
