Kevin Hart To Produce South Korean Film "Sunny" Remake

Kevin Hart is officially scheduled to produce a remake of the South Korean comedy-drama film, Sunny (to be renamed Bye-Bye-Bye). During its launch in 2011, Sunny was one of Korea, the highest-grossing of the films. The award-winning film is about a band of seven women who come together 20 years after graduating from high school, when one of them is battling a diagnosis of cancer.

According to Variety, Hart HartBeat Productions teamed with the media company of South korea's CJ Entertainment to launch the idea of Universal Pictures. Others signed on to produce along with Hart are John Cheng of HartBeat Productions, and Francis Chung and Jerry Ko CJ Entertainment.
