Kid Cudi Plays '70s Porn Star In Gory Horror Movie 'X': Watch The Trailer

The horror film also stars Mia Goth, Jenna Ortega, and Brittany Snow.

Kid Cudi has earned another role to add to his film resume. A24 released a trailer to the upcoming horror movie X on Wednesday (January 12) which finds Cudder playing the role of a porn star in the late 1970s.

Directed by Ti West, a group of filmmakers heads to a barren area in Texas to shoot an adult film and the house they’re staying at — of course — becomes haunted and members begin dropping one by one in extremely gory fashion.

The Ohio native appears alongside a cast that includes Brittany Snow, Jenna Ortega, Martin Henderson, Owen Campbell, and Stephen Ure. As for Cudder’s look, he makes a few appearances in X‘s first trailer where he’s hilariously rocking a mustache and afro fully leaning into his porn star persona.

“Dying to show you a good time,” Cudi wrote. “@A24 presents #X, from writer-director Ti West and starring Mia Goth, Brittany Snow, @JennaOrtega, and @KidCudi. Only in theaters March 18.”
