Mary J. Blige To Get Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star
Mary J. Blige's longtime collaborator, Diddy, is to help unveil the star.
R&B powerhouse Mary J. Blige is having a good start to the year 2018.
In addition to being for Best Original Song and Best supporting Actress in a movie, this Sunday at the Golden Globes (January 7), for his work on Mudbound, the singer/actress is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
"Mary J. Blige is one of the most popular singers of our generation. The Fans will be very happy to see his star on the Boulevard as well as milestones of his career are celebrated in this famous sidewalk," Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, said in a statement.
On Twitter, Martinez spoke to some fans who thought the star was a long time ago, and explained that the delay stemmed from Blige's camp expects to nominate the singer.

The ceremony of the inauguration of Blige star is scheduled to take place on the 11th of January.
Among the notables scheduled to attend the ceremony of Diddy. The Bad Boy Entertainment mogul worked with Blige early in her career, as executive producer of his triple-platinum 1992 debut album What's the 411?.
