MC Eiht Announces New Compton's Most wanted Album
#DXCLUSIVE: "BLUESTAMP official."
Los Angeles, CA – Hip Hop pioneers from Compton's Most Wanted members of their families (CMW) helped to mark the beginning of West Coast gangsta rap scene in the years '80 and '90. Led by MC Eiht and Tha Chill, the group has released six albums, including the 1992 classic, Music To Driveby.
After CMW fell of Compton O. G. in the year 2006, they went their separate ways, but that's all about to change. In an exclusive statement to HipHopDX, Eiht confirmed a new CMW album is in the works and is expected to arrive sometime this summer.
"I'm working," Eiht said DX. "I'm going to be ready in the month of June. 'll have two videos: one of my solo album and one of CMW. That BLUESTAMP official. Geah!"
In addition to the CMW project, Eiht is about to finish his keep it Hood 2, EP. The project serves as the follow-up to 2013's keep it Hood, which he published in his BLUESTAMP Music imprint he founded five years ago.
Eiht, that was featured on Kendrick Lamar's Good Kid, m.A.A.d City in 2012, is also finishing the sequel of 2017, Which Way Iz West, the aptly titled Which Way Iz West II.
