Move Over Diddy: JAY-Z Is Now the World's richest Rapper
"Oh, we gon' getting to a billi first."
JAY-Z has dethroned Diddy as Hip Hop's richest player, according to Forbes' 2018 List Of Hip Hop wealthiest Artists. While in the past year (and every year since the list began in 2011), the Bad Boy Founder has occupied the first place, this year Hov takes the lead with a $ 900 million fortune.
Apart from his music, JAY-Z immense wealth comes from his stakes in Roc Nation, the TIDES, and the liquor brand, Armand de Brignac champagne and D Usse cognac.
Diddy is still very close with $825 million euros, and celebrate #blackexcellence with an Instagram post that went up after the report dropped.
Greetings to #blackexcellence going!!!!!!! For motivational use only! ✊🏿

Dr. Dre is in the No. 3 spot again, but with a net worth of $770 million, up from last year of $740 million. It is expected that his fortune will grow significantly in the coming years, once the Apple stock is vested.
Complete the Forbes Five list are Drake and Eminem, tied to $100 million. Last year, Drake was behind Birdman with a $ 90 million fortune. Drizzy is the owner of several farms, on top of having earned over $250 million dollars from 2010.
Next, while Eminem is not normally considered as a magnate, he is the best-selling artist (over any genre) of the decade of 2000, and the benefits of its 2017 Revival of the liberation put him in the Top 5. Was recently became the RIAA's second highest-selling singles artist of all time.
Forbes calculated the rankings based on an analysis of the candidates of the main assets, and is discharged to analysts, attorneys, managers and other key team members to gather the information.
