Parole Watch: Kevin Gates Might Be Released From Prison Soon

East Moline, IL – Kevin Gates is currently serving 30 months in prison in East Moline correctional Center in the state of Illinois and may be on probation, as soon as the January 10, 2018, if all goes well. Gates previous parole date was set for June 22.

If parole is granted by the 31-year-old MC, born Kevin Jerome Gilyard, he will be off of probation on January 10, 2019, according to the Department of Corrections web site (which inexplicably says that he has no tattoos).

Shortly after the release of Islah in the top of 2016, the Doors will be served a 180-day sentence in the Polk County jail after being found guilty of battery for kicking a fan in a Lakeland, Florida show. He was then transferred to East Moline Correctional Center on April 27 due to a gun charge in the case of Illinois, dating back to 2013.

Your certificate of platinum Islah album peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 and his wife Dreka, who has been handling all of the Bread Winners of the Association of family and business, while Gates has been locked up, helped to facilitate the release of his By Any Means mixtape this past month of September.
