Pete Rock, & Ali Shaheed Muhammad Join Moses Sumney At Moogfest Free Stage

Dunham, NC Hip – Hop heads of those who reside in Durham, North Carolina is in for a treat. Moogfest — the annual festival dedicated to the work of Robert Moog, best known as the inventor of the Moog synthesizer — has been added as a free stage with an impressive line-up.
The 19th of May in the heart of the city centre of Durham, the festival (now in its 14th year) has announced the addition of the legendary producer/DJ Pete Rock, as well as Ali Shaheed Muhammad, the key component of the immortals, A Tribe Called Quest. The two will each do a live DJ set and, given their history, it is an experience that fans will not want to miss.
Moses Sumney, whose debut LP Aromanticism was named one of the best albums of 2017 in the New York Times, is also included in the alignment. He will be accompanied by a live band for their second Moogfest appearance. In addition, he will be taking part in a workshop for singer-songwriters.
Most of the electronic music festival also features names such as KRS-One and producer/DJ J Rocc of Beat Junkies fame in its extensive range.
