"It was written like Nas but it came from Quentin."

New York, NY, united states – After much speculation, the text group of the press, and a change of name, Pusha T DAYTONA had a listening party in the basement bar of the PUBLIC hotel in New York on May 23.

There was much to celebrate at the event that saw the likes of Swizz Beatz and Pharrell Williams in the building. Famous friends and music industry elite were both in attendance to listen to the "impeccable" seven-track project, for the first time, and the King of Push did not disappoint.

According to HipHopDX president Thuy-Julien, who was in the building, Pusha was incredibly friendly and welcoming to all attendees. "Pusha walked in, and instead of going to VIP, walked right into the center of the crowd and began the evening by welcoming the crowd," he said.

After welcoming the people, proceeded to play DAYTONA in its entirety.

A song that caught the attention in line was "Infrared", which appeared to take some photos to Drake with a reference to the alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller ("it was written like Nas but it came from Quentin"). Considering the former Clipse rapper and Drake have been back and forth for a number of years β€” with Drizzy addressing Push-in "Two Birds, One Stone" after the "H. G. T. V. Freestyle" roasted β€” the new vaccine is not too surprising.

Pusha also recruited Kanye West for a verse on "What Would Meek Do," where Kanye begins with a few lines similar to the gibberish in "Lift" before you enter the references to his MAGICIAN hat and "seven pill a night."

The name of the track comes from a line of Pusha spits: "Angel on my shoulder, 'What are we to do?'/ Devil in the other, 'What would Meek do?'"
