R. Kelly's Ex-Wife Alleges Abuse: "What He Did To Me Was Criminal"
"We got divorced because I was no longer going to sit back and be violated," he said.
With multiple projectors is already shining in the R. Kelly of the boycotts, temporary removal of her songs from Spotify-curated playlists, and more sexual misconduct allegations and lawsuits, and charges of running a sex cult, and now another has been pointed out directly to him by his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly.
In an interview with the TELEVISION A Sister of the Circle, Mrs. Kelly alleges that he was the victim of domestic abuse during their 13 years of marriage with R. Kelly. They were married in 1996 and divorced in 2009.
Mrs. Kelly said in the programme — through tears — that she was not "the teeth" or "break-bones girl", but said that she had responded to a questionnaire on a domestic violence awareness website that started each line, "Has your abuser ever...". Of the 17 questions, R. Kelly had allegedly made 15 of the actions towards it.
