Ralo Manager Thinks he is Being targeted Because He is Muslim
The Gucci Mane affiliate is expected to appear in a DeKalb County court next week.
Atlanta, GA – Ralo, the manager of the Queen, who is also the sister of the late rapper Shawty Lo, spoke to 11 Alive News about the rapper of Atlanta's recent arrest on Friday (April 20). She believes that her client is being unfairly targeted by the FBI due to his Muslim identity.
The Gucci Mane affiliate (born in Terrell Davis) was arrested last Saturday (April 14) for the crime of conspiracy to commit a felony. The feds allege the 23-year-old victims of trafficking nearly $2 million dollars in marijuana and is part of a band called Famerica. During the interview with 11 Alive News, the Queen has clarified what Famerica media.
"Famerica is the record label that Ralo began," he said. "He started that he would be able to sign artists. Signed yourself and put your own music. The sad part is, I don't understand why when black people come together may be considered as a gang. Only because I love my annoyance and I want to be close to my brother, why is that a gang?
"He has been arrested because of his songs. Due to its lyrics. Because of their faith".
Ash Joshi, Ralo's lawyer, said, "Mr. Davis denies the charges against him, and we look forward to litigating the case in court."
Ralo is expected to appear in a DeKalb County courtroom next week and plead not guilty.
