Tekashi 6ix9ine Denied Bail After the Judge Deemed Him "a flight Risk"
The "Gummo" rap phenom will be extradited to Texas soon to face another judge.
New York, NY – Tekashi 6ix9ine obviously it is not out of jail yet.
According to TMZ, the lawyers of the rainbow of color of hair rapper in court on Thursday (July 12) with the bail application to 6ix9ine, who was arrested earlier this week. But, according to reports, the judge denied that request after estimation of him a "flight risk."
The arrest stems from an incident in Houston's Galleria Mall, in Texas, where 6ix9ine allegedly choked a 16-year-old boy.
During Thursday's court hearing, according to the report, pleaded with the judge to let him out on bail, stating that he had to take care of his family and had learned a valuable lesson.
6ix9ine was taken into custody by police on Wednesday (11 July) at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, New York. He will remain in New York in jail until his hearing on July 20. He will then be extradited to Texas to face a judge.
The "Gummo" phenom has just returned from a European tour, although he had been denied entry into the united kingdom, and was unable to make their London and Manchester shows.
Although it is not clear why it is not allowed in the country, 6ix9ine has a long rap sheet, including a 2015 child sex crimes.
