Tekashi 6ix9ine gets lighter Load In Alleged Assault of Cop

New York, NY – Tekashi 6ix9ine it is reported that the reception of a lower fee for his alleged altercation with a police officer.
According to TMZ, the controversial figure of the crime of assault on an officer charge was reduced to a misdemeanor charge of assault. Prosecutors determined the alleged injuries were not sufficiently serious to justify a serious crime.
6ix9ine was accused of assaulting an officer of 21 of May. According to the police, the rainbow of hair color rhymer squeezed and twisted the hands of a police officer which was the removal of the rapper's wives in the 77th Precinct station house.
The incident allegedly occurred while he was in custody for driving with a suspended license. On May 20, the police say they stopped 6ix9ine because he was parked in front of a fire hydrant. Subsequently, he was arrested after officers ran his name through the system and discovered the suspended license.

6ix9ine is facing up to seven years in prison for the felony assault charge. He will now face no more than a year.
Despite getting a lesser charge, in this case, 6ix9ine has more legal woes to deal with going forward. He was recently arrested in New York for an outstanding warrant in Texas, where he was accused of strangling a teenage girl in a shopping center in Houston.
6ix9ine was released on bail on July 12, but had to turn himself in to Houston authorities as part of their release. He surrendered in Texas on Monday (July 16) and posted a $5,000 bail.
