Tekashi 6ix9ine Jumps from the Court And the Judge Threatens To lock him up
While Tekashi 6ix9ine is to assume that somewhere out there to live the good life, he is blowing off their court dates. According to Page Six, the polarizing figure who was expected in court on Wednesday (October 10), but he did not.
Judge Edwin Bullock said 6ix9ine of the lawyer, "Counselor, if your client is not here on Tuesday, [there will be] a warrant."
In 6ix9ine of the defense, one of his lawyers explained he was very busy traveling to show, citing the delays of the flights.
"The defendant was at Dubai, it was in the Netherlands, and is trying to return today," the lawyer said.
The prosecutor responded, "All that [means that] you should have booked a flight a day ahead of time."
This is not the first time that the Brooklyn-bred artist has bailed at a court date related to his alleged assault case.
After his arrest at JFK airport this summer, 6ix9ine is facing up to seven years in prison for the felony assault charge on the officer that put the handcuffs, but was reduced to a misdemeanor. It was supposed to be in court to confront the issue, but it was a no-show.
6ix9ine is due in court on Tuesday (October 16).
