The Former Bad Boy Star Craig Mack, According To Reports Of That Pass

News of the 46-year-old's of death is spreading like a wildfire.

Several members of the Hip Hop community took to social media on Tuesday morning (March 13) to mourn the death of Houston Hip Hop vet Craig Mack. He was 46.

DJ Scratch of EPMD fame posted a picture of Mack with the title, "I just received a disturbing phone call. I can't believe that this guy is gone. He just arrived a couple of weeks to talk about his documentary about his life. Because Craig was my rodie on tour. He was going to set and break my turntables every night on the tour. Rest In Peace Lil Bro."

Funkmaster Flex has also posted a tribute of his own to Instagram. The legend, "Rest in Peace! Good brother ... #CraigMack ...Alvin Toney love my brother."

Mack, who rose to fame with 1994 "Flava In Ya Ear", was signed to Diddy's Bad Boy Entertainment during the '90's. The track's remix is considered one of the greatest rap posse cuts of all time. It is certified platinum by the RIAA and peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Despite Diddy asking him to join the Bad Boy Reunion Tour in 2016, Mack opted not to do the shows.

Tributes have already begun pouring in on social media. Of Whodini's Jalil Hutchins and Juicy J, Biz Markie, and R. A. The Rugged Man, news of Mack's death in the present swirled around the Hip-Hop community.
