The Gunman Stopped In XXXTENTACION of the Murder
22-year-old Michael Boatwright served an arrest warrant on July 10.
Broward County, FL – the Broward County Sheriff detectives have arrested a suspected gunman in XXXTENTACION shooting death.
According to a press release, 22-year-old Michael Boatwright was served with a warrant for first-degree murder on Tuesday (July 10). He was already in custody at the BSO jail on unrelated charges, including possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Boatwright's arrest marks the second suspect police have arrested in this case. Dedrick D. Williams was arrested on the 20th of June, and is currently awaiting trial.
Detectives are also interested in speaking with 22 years, Robert Allen, who has been named as a person of interest in the case.
The police are also looking for a second shooter, but no suspects have been named
The 20-year-old rapper was murdered on June 18, outside of the RIVA motor sports in Deerfield Beach, Florida, in what his lawyer called a "random robbery."
X sat down to rest at the end of last month following a public open-casket memoriall at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, where thousands of fans mourned his death.
