Trae Tha Truth Explains that He is The "local Hero" On the New Album
#DXCLUSIVE: An appropriate title after his great work during the Hurricane Harvey.
Trae Tha Truth worked tirelessly to help the city of Houston in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. With that in mind, the Hero of his people is an appropriate name for his next album.
HipHopDX spoke Brings about what motivated him to choose this title of the album, and shared a couple of different reasons for your selection.
"A couple of things ... that is the name of the city [to me] according to the people and in the face of adversity, the people have faced," Bring said DX. "The people rooting for me at home and also in other places, so it just felt like the right title ... in the Morning, the news is also breaking that I have to go to court, with Radio One. We are trying to get the ban lifted. You know, [that] is going to try to manipulate it, but it is time to move forward."
The ABN leader also released a March 16 release date for the album, sharing the stage with frequent collaborator Mozzy — that is the release of a new EP titled Spiritual Conversations on March 2 — in an Instagram post. Brings the next project will be the follow-up to Tha Truth Pt. 3 album, which dropped in July of 2017.
