Twitter Thinks Kanye West Dissed Drake On "Not Making Mistakes"
"Too rich to fight against you/Calm, the light of the skin."
With the arrival of Kanye West, the new solo album, you, the internet has been hard at work furiously trying to decipher the "meaning" behind Yeezy bars.
The Fans are convinced of the Slick Rick-sampling "Not make Mistakes" is a shot at Drake. Along with the feature of Kid Cudi, Drake dissed in"Two Birds, One Stone," it seems like Yeezy had his gaze fixed on the Toronto rap star when he wrote the track.
The line "I'm going to make this clear, for all of you to see/I don't take advice from people less successful than me, huh?" which supposedly is a spike on 'Ye being richer than the Drake, while the last line, "Too rich to fight against you/Calm, light skin!," it is a stab at Drizzy's bi-racial background.
Fans are also speculating that the Charlie Wilson-assisted, hook, "make no mistake/Girls still love you," is the clown of Drake's rap career.
"Not make Mistakes" comes after the 6 God threw a jab at 'You' Duppy Freestyle", which was a response to Pusha T's "Infrared". The DAYTONA court had as its objective the OVO Sound boss and Cash Money CEO Bryan "Birdman" Williams.
After Pusha is returned with the scathing Drake diss track, "The Story Of Adidon," the dust has apparently settled between the two artists (for now).
