Tyrese Backpedals After Instagram Tirade Directed Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
"I'm not Rock #Hate."
Tyrese called his " The Fast and The Furious co-star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson over the weekend after learning of their plans to move forward with a spin-off of the film based on the Johnson, the character of Luke Hobbs.
On Tuesday (September 12), Tyrese explained his actions in a long Instagram post and wrote about the love he has for his co-star.
"This is not a #Rant I'm not the Rock #Hater and I don't want your #Life", he wrote. "I love my own......I'm doing this for the #FastFamily I am loyal and I apologize for being faithful but god damn I am".
This all started on Sunday (10 September) after Tyrese commented on one of Johnson's posts, by calling the Hollywood heavyweight for not replying to your text messages.
"If you move forward with the #Hobbs film will have deliberately ignored my heart-to-heart moment that I had in my sprinter," he wrote. "I don't want to hear from you until you remember what we talked about – I'm on your timeline, because it does not respond to my text messages – #FastFamily it is just that the family...... We can not fly alone."
After the April release of the Luck of The Furious (the eighth film in the franchise), the reports suggest that Universal was planning a spin-off based on the project of Johnson and co-star Jason Statham's characters. It was also reported the film could be made while the ninth installment of the franchise is being resolved.
