XXXTENTACION Sent To Jail After Being Hit With 7 New Crimes
The controversy of Broward County, the rapper is reportedly being held without right to bail.
Miami, FL – XXXTENTACION was sent to jail on Friday morning (December 15) after prosecutors hit her with seven new charges in connection to his 2016 case of domestic violence, according to TMZ.
The new account, which are all serious crimes, according to the reports, which include different grades of witness tampering and witness harassment.
As reported earlier this month, X's legal team to submit a document saying that his ex-girlfriend – who he allegedly assaulted her when she was pregnant with his child last year – didn't want him to be judged. But those overseeing the case, told the judge that does not believe that the claim was legitimate, which leads prosecutors to pursue charges of witness tampering and witness harassment, which lead to the harshest of legal sanctions.
In a hearing at the Miami-Dade County on the morning of Friday, the judge told X that he had violated the terms of his bail from his initial arrest and the 17 rapper was sent directly to jail. He is reportedly being held without right to bail.
X is facing a series of charges, including aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic violence by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness tampering. If convicted, he faces decades in prison.
