YG's New Album Will Have A Heavy Tupac Influence

The LA native talks to Apple Music's Zane Lowe about his forthcoming effort, 'My Life 4Hunnid.'

YG has been in his Tupac bag lately and fans will apparently feel that heavily when they hear his new album. Talking to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe on Wednesday (September 23), the Los Angeles native explained how Pac influenced his forthcoming effort My Life 4Hunnid.

“This album was highly influenced by Tupac,” he said. “This is as far as the space I’m in and what I’m dealing with in life. He went through a lot of the stuff that I’m dealing with right now, and he was making records about it, and just the tone and the cadence of how he was coming up. I was playing with a lot of that type of sway of Tupac.”.centered-ad {
