Young Buck Says That he Was Initially Given 2Pac's Role In "All Eyez On Me" Biopic
The G-Unit soldier also said that he doesn't have to do the test.
Young Buck like 2Pac? According to the G-Unit rapper was allegedly told to the role of Tupac Shakur on All Eyez On Me biopic was initially his.
Buck sat down with DJ Smallz Eyes and he shared his thoughts on the recently released film, hit back at the critics who have panned the narration and the action, saying that he really enjoyed the representation of the Cap of life. But what was especially revealing was Buck's claim to DJ Smallz Eyes to the role — which eventually went to Demetrius Shipp, Son — was given to him by the producers of the film.
"People don't know this, but I was going to play Cap," Buck explained. "I was supposed to play Tupac Shakur, you understand? I didn't get so far as to go and read the scripts, and things of that sort, but I was ranked as one of those guys who, I guess, is considered to play 2Pac."
Buck added that you don't have to do an audition for the role, but was foiled by the appearance of Shipp, the Cashville Records artist approves judging by your comments that someone should "review its [Shipp's] birth certificate." He even made the joke that the fans should respect the actor of representation.
