Action Bronson Puts Sandwich Making Skills To The Test
"I could say... 'Shit's Delicious.'"
Action Bronson was the head-to-head in a sandwich showdown with YouTube presenter Sean Evans, in a video posted this week on First We Feast, to see who would throw the better impressed celebrity chef judge Mario Batali.
Bronson, who was a chef in New York before he made it in the rap game, he shared his philosophy on what makes the perfect sandwich: "it Is the bread, the meat, is the thing that goes in it, is the grease that makes everything wet... Is the suggestion of this, it is a touch of that. Actually, there is a way to make a sandwich."
Bam Bam Baklava prepared a pork using a recipe of your own Shit That's Delicious cookbook, which hit shelves Tuesday (September 12). He used a piece of pork belly, bacon, sauce, jalapenos, raspberries, and blackberries, as well as a robiola bosina cheese, between slices of white bread.
The video shows the exact way to prepare the chicarrón before the moment of truth, where Mario Batali bites... "The robiola bosina is part of my heartstrings, the mulberry remind me of my childhood ... You are looking really, really good. I could say "Fuck, That's Delicious.'"
It was then Evans ' turn to be judged. The hottest host had prepared a sandwich of salami, turkey, "Primanti Brothers style fries and swiss cheese between challah bread.
Batali revealed that he "would be very happy to eat any of these sandwiches." As for it crowd champion? Watch the video below to find out.
