Bad Luck: Martin Shkreli Obtained Lil Wayne "Tha Carter 5" By Accident
"Pharma Bro" Martin Shkreli has become famous in the Hip-Hop for being a collector of rarities, including Wu-Tang Clan $2 million albums. Perhaps the most amazing collection has obtained is Lil Wayne's Tha Carter 5 ALBUM, which has never been released. As it turns out, he got a copy of pure luck.
Alex Pfeiffer, a White House correspondent for The Daily caller, recently recounted a conversation he once had with Shkreli about Tha Carter 5. The journalist revealed the controversial figure claims to have simply found the CD in a Bugatti bought.
"I'll always remember how Shkreli told me that I have the Carter 5," Pfeiffer twitter. "Wayne sold his Bugatti and left the CD there..new owner sold it to shkreli."

Shkreli has not revealed publicly how he got his hands on the project, despite leaks in the tracks of it. He has insisted that he obtained it through legal means.
"I think that the sale is legal," he said in December 2016. "The criminal law? Forget it ... I don't think that Lil Wayne could sue me. I don't think that Birdman can sue me. I don't think Universal might sue me. It is legal to sell".
While Shkreli name apparently continues to pop-up in the Hip Hop realm, he has more problems to worry about. The businessman was convicted of three counts of securities fraud last Friday (4 August).
