Taylor was killed by police in Lousiville, Kentucky, on the 13th of March. The agents responsible for his death were the issuance of a "no-call" guaranteed by the use of a battering ram to enter an apartment Taylor shared with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, mistook the officers for intruders and opened fire. Taylor was shot eight times as she stood in the hallway and died. Since the death of Taylor, "no-call" guarantees that have been suspended, by Lousiville Mayor Greg Fischer.
